We have been working closely with the Saddle Company in Walsall and together, have brought out a new saddle. It's called the 'Sparky Saddle' by the Saddle Company and Saddles Direct. The 'Sparky' saddle is traditionally a working hunter saddle but it can be used for general riding, flat showing and jumping.  The Sparky saddle has an adjustable tree along with a lower pommel and cantle to allow for a growing child.  The saddle features a wider gullet wider panels to accommodate the larger spine and broader backs and well spring ribs typically seen in Native ponies. This saddle still features all the usual benefits from the Saddle Company saddles including a serge lined panel which really helps contour to the pony's back and with front gussets gives saddle fitters a range of adjustment to support the ponies withers and shoulder area.  Girthing options and moveable knee blocks gives fitters the ability to make the saddle work for rounder ponies and also help give the child confidence as we can tailor the knee block position as they grow. The 'Sparky' saddle comes in Black and Havana, in seat sizes 14, 15 and 16" which are all adjustable.

Saddle Company saddles come in four main types.

All Saddle Company saddles have a soft hide-covered seat, and serge panels as standard. Although some saddles are semi-synthetic, all of the visible upper areas of the saddle are leather, giving them a great look and finish.

Verona
The Verona has a synthetic saddle flap, which is covered with a soft hyde on the outer side. This is lovely light saddle, which is very soft and comfortable.
