This little Fylde Nathan is quite forward cut with fixed knee and calf blocks, so it rides much closer to a jump saddle than a show saddle. It's a great option for a junior rider who wants to jump, and well worth a look if you're hunting for a 15" jump saddle, which aren't always easy to find. It's in great condition too.

Fit & feel

Quite forward-cut flap, giving room for a shorter jumping stirrup

Fixed knee and calf blocks for a secure, supported leg over fences

Open seat that gives the rider freedom to move

Fixed tree, currently set between a wide and an extra-wide fitting

Wool-flocked panels, which a fitter can adjust to fine-tune the fit as your pony changes shape

Full front gussets

Point and middle girthing options

This one suits a pony in a wide fitting, ridden by a junior who loves to jump. If you'd like an adjustable option, try the Cavaletti Collection Pony GP alongside it. Its changeable gullet can be swapped as your pony changes shape, so compare how the Nathan's forward cut and blocks feel against the GP's more all-round flap.

As ever, that's a starting point for narrowing things down rather than a fit guarantee, so we'd recommend trialling it alongside an appointment with a fitter to see how it sits on your pony.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0718/3325/6213/files/fylde-nathan-pony-working-hunterjump-brown-15-w-at-saddles-direct-1565826.jpg?v=1791506664
