The Fairfax Classic GP benefits from all the features common to every Classic saddle (see design details below), plus the following comfort-enhancing details. A comfortable and supportive seat allowing the rider to get the most from their hours in the saddle The design and placement of the billets gives four girthing options to fine-tune the fit to the horse’s shape and movement Luxurious double-oiled butt leather Super-soft full grain hide on the seat The stitched-on knee block provides superior support for the rider’s leg Deep cushioning over the knee rolls ensures the support is softer and more accommodating for a variety of leg lengths. This can prove particularly useful for those who intend to ride with different stirrup lengths in the GP saddle (i.e. hacking or jumping & competing) Two rows of ghost stitching on the knee roll allow it to contour easily around the block, allowing the leg to rest in the most comfortable and effective position for the chosen stirrup length
The Fairfax Classic saddles have been designed and created using all the research and development that has gone into the Fairfax Performance saddle range. The Fairfax classic range offer a more traditional style of saddle for a rider who likes technology derived from science to help a saddle fit while also keeping a traditional looking saddle. The Fairfax classic saddle range include dressage, Jump, Monoflap XC, GP and GPD models so one to suit all. Handmade in England All the Fairfax, Kent and Masters’ and Thorowgood saddle ranges are handmade in English factories, the Classic range is no example. These brands are known for their traditional English made quality with new scientific technology to boot. Adjustable Gullet Bar System The Fairfax saddles all feature adjustable gullet bar systems which range from N-XW(r bar) or XXW(s bar) depending which bar the saddle is compatible with. British Wool Flocked The Fairfax saddles are all flocked with traditional British wool flocking for superior comfort to the horse. Pro-Lite Lined Panels As well as British wool flocking the Fairfax saddle panels are also lined with Pro-Lite for proven pressure distribution, while still allowing for traditional re-flocking on site.
