Handcrafted in Walsall Creating the IDEAL saddle takes time and each one progresses through several stages of manufacture. When manufacturing Ideal saddles only the finest materials are used, from handmade saddle trees made by Ideal in Walsall, to the highest quality leather and components.
Unique Trees Ideal are well known for their unique saddle trees handmade by skilled craftsmen in their own Walsall based factories. The Trees Ideal offer in their saddles are designed specifically with tricky fitting and shaped horses in mind. If Ideal don’t have a tree, no saddle will.
Targeted Saddle Models Hand in hand with the saddle trees Ideal saddles have also designed their saddle models to target specific shapes horses. Ideal saddles really have thought about every model and their need in the saddlery trade. Ideal saddles have models to suit all horses and ponies from wide flat backed native and cob types to narrow high withered shapely thoroughbred or sports horse types.
Speciality Saddles Ideal saddlery offer a range of speciality saddles that include Polo saddles and race horse saddles which is rare in the modern day saddlery industry to find along-side generic saddle models.
