Introduced in 2017 the T8 Pony Jump offers great comfort thanks to the forward-cut flaps which are specifically designed to support the rider’s leg in the shorter jumping position. The leather seat and knee pads give the feel of riding on an all leather saddle, without the expense. The T8 Pony Jump has a versatile fit which makes it a good choice for young riders progressing onto bigger ponies. This is thanks to Thorowgood’s changeable gullet bar and adjustable girthing options which enable the fit to be customised for a wide variety of shapes.

Easy-Care being predominantly synthetic the Thorowgood saddles are super easy to care for from the faux leather and suede on the T4 models to the leather seat/knee pads and faux leather skirts and flaps on the T8 saddles.
The Thorowgood range are very light weight and very easy to care for. British flocked, all Thorowgood saddles are flocked using traditional 100% British wool. The advantages to using British wool in Thorowgood saddles is that is moulds quickly settling to the shape of the horses back and offering optimum panel support.
Handmade in Walsall All Thorowgood saddles are handmade in Walsall based factories which have been making saddles for over 25 years. The saddles are hand make by skilled craftsmen who hold qualified and master saddler accreditations which go towards ensuring each Thorowgood saddle are made concisely with all the quality and attention to detail you would look to find in any Thorowgood saddle. All the Thorowgood saddle range feature either the long R bar or short S bar.
