The VSD saddle designed to sit between a dressage saddle and a GP saddle. VSD is a German term for a multi-purpose saddle. Multi purpose (Vielzweck) Jumping (Springen) and dressage (Dressage). This saddle is distinguishable for it’s thigh pad in the back of the flap.
Saddle Company saddles come in four main types. All Saddle Company saddles have a soft hide covered seat, and serge panels as standard. Although some saddles are semi-synthectic, all of the visible upper areas of the saddle are leather, giving them a great look and finish.
Vicenza
The Vicenza has a solid leather flap, for additional durability and longevity, for those who prefer a solid leather upper.
The Saddle Company VSD saddle would suit a horse with medium-high withers and curve through the back. More suited to your typical Thoroughbred/Sport horse types.
