The John Whitaker Gullet Gauge is a Gullet Bar Sizing Tool to help to choose the right width of gullet bar for your adjustable saddle. The gullet gauge is a handy tool for the tack room and can help you monitor any changes in your horse's muscling. 

How to use the gullet sizer:

1. Place the Gullet Gauge vertically over your horse’s back, where the tree points of your saddle would sit.
2. Check the Gauge is evenly in contact with the horse.
3. The centre of the gauge should be well clear of your horse’s wither.
4. The gauge will indicate the correct sized gullet for your horse.

Please note: this is designed specifically for use with John Whitaker interchangeable gullet system, and should not be used to indicate the widths for other saddle brands.
