The Fairfax Classic Cupped Flap is a beautifully made dressage saddle with a cupped flap and a stitched-on thigh roll that gives support through the leg while staying softer and more accommodating than a monoflap design. The mid-depth seat helps keep you aligned in that classic dressage position, without ever feeling restrictive.

It's built with a changeable gullet system (R-Bar), so the fit can be adjusted from Narrow/Medium right through to XWide/XXWide as your horse's shape changes, and it's finished with traditional wool flocked panels and full grain English hide and butt leather throughout.

If you're deciding between flap styles within the Fairfax Classic range, the natural comparison is the Classic Monoflap: that gives you a single flap and the closest possible contact, while this Cupped Flap trades a touch of that closeness for a softer, more cushioned feel through the leg via the stitched-on thigh roll, both on the same fixed block and changeable R-Bar gullet. It's worth trialling the two back to back to feel that difference for yourself before deciding which flap style suits you best.

At the end of your trial, we will contact you to see how you got on and arrange collection of the saddles.
Once we have received the saddle(s) back and inspected them, we will issue any refunds necessary.
