Adjustable Flexibloc system – The Bates saddles adjustable flexibloc system does exactly what it says on the tin. They are adjustable knee blocks designed so the rider can position them for the best optimum performance aiding.

Ergonomic Stirrup Bar - The design registered stirrup bar removes at least one thickness of leather from under the rider's thigh, ensuring even closer contact and maximising rider comfort. The unique shaping offers secure attachment of their stirrup leather, while enabling the leather to come free if required during a fall.

Heritage leather upholds the traditional European practices of natural oil and wax tanning. The high oil and wax content of this performance leather ensures optimum suppleness and enhanced rider grip. The heritage leather is a smooth finish more "traditional" flap leather type you would see on many saddles. This leather is used on many of the Bates performance saddle range.

You get to trial the saddle for 5 days. Make sure you participate in all your riding activities with this saddles and arrange an in-person fitting with your saddle fitter if possible.
At the end of your trial, we will contact you to see how you got on and arrange collection of the saddles.
Once we have received the saddle(s) back and inspected them, we will issue any refunds necessary.
