This Fairfax Classic Cupped Flap Jump is a traditional two-flap saddle, built for a close, connected feel with your horse over a fence whilst providing more leg support.

The moulded cupped flap wraps around a stitched-on knee block, giving your leg a defined, secure spot to sit against rather than a looser feel, while the precisely aligned seat keeps you balanced through take-off and landing. It's built on the same Performance and World Class research base as Fairfax's top-level saddles, so the horse benefits from that pressure-relieving design too.

Cupped, moulded flap around a larger fixed knee block, giving superior, well-defined support for the rider's leg.

The calf block on the Cupped Flap model is larger than the standard classic jump mode.

Three billets, with the third one moveable, giving your fitter several girthing positions to fine-tune stability rather than one fixed setup: neutral position uses the 1st and 3rd billets, moving to 2nd and 3rd if the saddle shifts back, or 1st and 4th for extra stability. Never use the 1st and 2nd together.

If you're trialling this alongside the Classic Deluxe Dual Flap Jump, the main thing to compare is the knee support itself, the Cupped Flap gives a fixed, moulded block, where the Deluxe has a softer padded knee roll that contours around the same block.

As ever, that's a starting point for narrowing things down rather than a fit guarantee, so we'd recommend trialling it alongside an appointment with a fitter to see how it sits on your horse.
