TOP TIP ⭐ To make sure you aren't without a saddle, take your new saddle on trial first (You'll need to pay a security deposit). Then once if you're happy with your new one, you can use the box to send your old saddle back to us!
3. Send Your Saddle to Us
If you’re happy with the valuation, simply send your saddle to us. We’ll inspect it to ensure the condition matches the details you provided. Once confirmed, we’ll apply the trade-in value towards your new saddle. This makes upgrading your saddle a breeze—no need to wait for your old one to sell.
4. Settling the Difference (If Needed)
If the new saddle you’ve chosen costs more than the trade-in value, you can easily pay the difference using card, paypal or Klarna! If we're holding a security deposit for your new saddle, we will simply refund the trade-in value for your saddle.
5. Receive Your New Saddle!
Once everything is confirmed, we’ll ship your new saddle straight to you (if you don't already have it on trial)! If needed, we can also help with a virtual saddle fitting to ensure your new saddle fits you and your horse perfectly, allowing you to ride with confidence.

Can I trial the new saddle before part‑exchanging my old one?
Yes you can! Get your valuation online first, then trial your saddle. Once you're happy, we'll arrange collection of your old saddle and refund the part-exchange value against your deposit.
Do I pay postage or courier costs?
Yes, but we can arrange this all for you with our DPD collection service. We offer standard shipping alongside a Tracked & Insured service.

What makes a saddle unsuitable for part‑exchange?
While we try to take in as many saddles as possible, some may not be suitable for part‑exchange. Common reasons include:
Uncommon or unbranded saddles, we focus on recognised, reputable brands who we can support and service the fitting of.
Excessive wear or damage e.g. broken trees, deep cracks, damaged panels, or perished leather.
Extreme sizing. Very unusual seat sizes or widths that are hard to re-home, including bespoke made to measure saddles.
Very old saddles. Particularly if the model is discontinued or no longer in demand.
If you’re unsure, send your saddle through an online valuation and we’ll let you know quickly whether your saddle can be accepted.
What happens if the saddle condition doesn’t meet the valuation?
When your saddle arrives, our fitters carefully inspect it against the details you provided.
If there’s minor wear not mentioned, we may adjust the part‑exchange value and confirm with you before proceeding.
If there’s significant undisclosed damage (e.g., broken tree, serious structural issues), we’ll contact you to discuss options, including returning the saddle to you if it can't be repaired.
