The Bates All Purpose+ is an all-rounder for riders who hack, school on the flat and pop the odd jump, all in one saddle. This ex-demo example is in Bates' Luxe Leather, so it feels soft and grippy from the first ride. It's also adjustable for both horse and rider, so it can be set up around the pair of you.

Fit & feel

Adjustable Ergonomic Stirrup Bar: lift the catch, slide the bar to where your leg hangs most naturally, then press it down to lock it in place.

Adjustable Flexibloc knee blocks, which you can reposition to suit your leg length and riding style.

Drop panel points and quilted panel points, with moulded knee inserts under the flap.

Full front gussets.

CAIR Cushion System: sealed, air-filled panels in place of wool flocking. They're designed to spread your weight along the length of the panel and move with your horse as they work. They're fully sealed and never need inflating.

EASY-CHANGE Fit Solution: interchangeable gullet bars from medium narrow to extra wide, plus a riser system. A qualified fitter can adapt the saddle as your horse changes shape, with no permanent changes. Tell us which gullet bar you need and we'll fit it before it goes out.

Once we have received the saddle(s) back and inspected them, we will issue any refunds necessary.
