The Bates Elevation DS+ is a technical jumping saddle for riders who want close contact without giving up security. The deeper seat holds you a little more than the standard Elevation+, which many riders find reassuring over bigger fences or on a horse with a decent jump in them. This one is brand new in Bates’ Luxe Leather, which is very soft and grippy from the first ride.

EASY-CHANGE gullet system (narrow through to extra wide) and riser system. A fitter can adjust the saddle as your horse changes shape, and it’s all fully reversible

CAIR panels: sealed air cushions in place of wool flocking, designed to spread your weight and move with your horse. They can look a little perched at first, so girth up and let the saddle settle before judging it

Ergonomic stirrup bar that cuts bulk under your thigh for a closer feel

Hand-selected Luxe calfskin leather, soft and grippy from new
