The Cavaletti Collection Monoflap VSD is a versatile saddle for riders who want one saddle for jumping, cross country, hacking and flatwork, with a closer feel to the horse. Brand new with tags, it pairs a monoflap design in covered leather with external blocks for security when jumping, on an interchangeable gullet system so the fit can be adjusted as your horse changes shape.

Fit & feel

16.5" classic low seat

Monoflap design in covered leather, taking out a layer of leather under your leg for a closer feel to the horse

Forward cut flap with external knee and thigh blocks, helping to keep you stable when jumping

Fairly flat through the tree, with an open, cut-back head to accommodate withers

Interchangeable gullet system: choose the gullet bar to suit your horse and we'll swap it in for you, and your fitter can change it again later without sending the saddle away

Full front gussets

Wool flocked panels, which a fitter can adjust to fine-tune the fit as your horse changes shape

Middle, point and balance girthing, so you can choose the girthing that suits your horse

It'll suit a horse with a flatter back and a rider who likes to hack in a dressage saddle because of the external blocks, but wants a saddle that can do a bit of everything. If you're narrowing down options, try it alongside the Cavaletti Collection GP: it's on the same flat tree with a cut-back head, but it's a double flap with moveable front blocks and fixed rear blocks, so compare the closeness under your leg and how each block style holds your position.

Once we have received the saddle(s) back and inspected them, we will issue any refunds necessary.
