4.0 = Excellent Condition, has been used and ridden in.
3.5 = Very Good Condition
3.0 = Good Condition
2.0 = Fair ConditionThis Kent & Masters S-Series Anatomic GP is built for a horse with a lot going on through the shoulder, big movement and plenty of muscle. The panel design takes the shoulder-restricting part of a conventional panel out of the equation entirely, replacing it with a versatile double-block system, so your horse can move freely through the shoulder without the saddle shifting around at the back. It's cut forward enough to take you from schooling and hacking through to the odd hunt or jumping session.
- Unique panel design that removes shoulder restriction, replaced by an interchangeable double-block system, letting your horse's shoulder move freely without unsettling the saddle
- Movable third girth strap that can shift to the balance ring for extra stability if needed
- SimaTree synthetic tree, adjustable from narrow/medium through to extra-extra-wide via a changeable gullet bar (this one's fitted with an R-Bar)
- Solidly built and heavier than some GP saddles, worth knowing if weight in the tack room matters to you
This one tends to suit a horse with a lot of shoulder to work with rather than a finer, flatter-shouldered type, and it's a good all-rounder if you want one saddle across schooling, hacking, and the odd hunt or jumping outing.
If you're trialling it alongside another GP, the main thing to compare is how free your horse feels through the shoulder, since that double-block system is the whole point of this design.As ever, that's a starting point for narrowing things down rather than a fit guarantee, so we'd recommend trialling it alongside an appointment with a fitter to see how it sits on your horse.
