Condition Score: 3.5 /5
This used saddle is in very good condition with the usual flap wear and surface scratches you would expect to see on a second-hand saddle.Condition Rating
5.0 = New Saddle with Tags
4.5 = Ex-demo Saddle, has been used for fittings.
4.0 = Excellent Condition, has been used and ridden in.
3.5 = Very Good Condition
3.0 = Good Condition
2.0 = Fair ConditionThis Kent and Masters Compact GP is built with a neater, slimmer seat than the brand's standard GP models, making it a genuinely good option for petite or slim riders, or anyone with narrower hips who finds other saddles feel too wide through the seat. It's also a handy choice for a smaller or more petite rider sitting on a larger pony or small horse. The tree sits slightly flatter underneath than the Original GP, giving a close, forward-cut feel suited to both flatwork and jumping.
Fit & feel
- Compact seat with a slim rear gusset, giving a neater fit for petite or slim-hipped riders.
- Velcro moveable knee and calf blocks under the flap, positionable to suit your leg length and riding position.
- Changeable R-Bar gullet system, with seven width options covering low, medium and high wither profiles.
- Changeable girthing arrangement, letting you optimise saddle stability instantly.
- Wool-flocked panels with two reinforced flocking slots, giving a fitter easy access for on-site adjustment.
- Forward-cut design, suiting both jumping and general schooling positions.
This one particularly suits a petite or slim-hipped rider, including those riding a larger pony or smaller horse. If you or your rider need a touch more room through the seat, the Kent and Masters Original GP MGP is worth trialling alongside it for comparison. As ever, that's a starting point for narrowing things down rather than a fit guarantee, so we'd recommend trialling it alongside an appointment with a fitter to see how it sits on your horse.
