The Pony, Cob & Horse Pendle Workers is a classic working hunter and show saddle with a very straight-cut flap and only the smallest hint of a knee block, so it keeps a clean, traditional line in the ring. A deep seat helps you sit secure, while the wide open head and super wide gullet channel give plenty of room through the wither and spine. The very minimal, slim rear panel keeps the saddle neat behind your seat, showing off your pony's topline.

Fit & feel

Very straight-cut flap for a classic show-ring line

Very small, discreet knee block that keeps your leg free

Deep seat for a secure position

Wide open head and super wide gullet channel

Very minimal, slim rear panel

Fixed extra-wide tree, suited to broader ponies and cobs

Wool-flocked panels, which a fitter can adjust to fine-tune the fit as your pony changes shape

1/4 front gussets

Four fixed girth straps across point, middle and balance positions to help keep the saddle stable

Soft, comfortable leather

This one suits a broad pony or cob in an extra-wide fitting, ridden by someone who likes a deep seat and a clean, straight show flap. Try the Fylde Ray alongside it. Both are minimal show saddles with neat rear panels, but the Ray's seat is less generous, so compare how much room and depth each seat gives you.

As ever, that's a starting point for narrowing things down rather than a fit guarantee, so we'd recommend trialling it alongside an appointment with a fitter to see how it sits on your pony.
