This Thorowgood T8 is built on their Low Profile conformation, Thorowgood's take on a cob tree, designed for a horse with lower withers doing flatwork. It's a step away from Thorowgood's standard, shapelier tree, though it's still a little shapelier than a dedicated flat cob tree like the Arena Cob Dressage, so it suits a horse with some shape through the back rather than a completely flat profile.

It has a surface-mounted knee block, contoured for security through the leg without feeling restrictive, and a changeable gullet system so the fit can move with your horse over time.

This one tends to suit a lower-withered horse or cob type doing flatwork who still has some shape through the back. If your horse is genuinely flat-backed, it's worth trying the Arena Cob Dressage alongside this one, as that's built on a flatter tree still, so comparing the two will help you feel exactly how much shape your horse needs.

At the end of your trial, we will contact you to see how you got on and arrange collection of the saddles.
Once we have received the saddle(s) back and inspected them, we will issue any refunds necessary.
